Facebook rolls out Snapchat like feature to its main app

Facebook has just launched a new feature
to its main app where people will be able to share photos and videos with their
friends using various camera effects just like in Snapchat.
Facebook has been adding features after
features to all its app line like Whatsapp, Messenger and Instagram. Now it has
added the major feature to its main Facebook app also.
With this feature, you will be able to
send a photo or video to your friends and they will be able to view it once and
replay it or write a reply. Once the conversation on the photo or video ends,
the content is no longer visible in Direct. Your friends can view photos or
videos from your story for 24 hours, and stories won’t appear on your Timeline
or in News Feed unless you post them there, too.
Here is how to use this feature…
You can use this feature by simply tapping
on the camera icon on the top left corner of the Facebook app or swiping right
from the news feed. There you can choose many live effects for your photos like
masks, frames, interactive filters and reactive effects like falling snow and
so on. After the photo or video is ready, you can send it to your friends individually
or post it on your timeline.
Facebook has promised to add more and
more interesting mask and filters in coming days. It has already partnered with
upcoming movies like Alien: Covenant, Despicable Me, Gurdian of Galaxy Vol, 2,
Power Rangers, Smurfs: The Lost Village and Wonder Woman to create a masks for
them.
