Facebook Messenger now gets functionality of 360 degree photos and HD Quality Videos

Facebook has announced an updated to it’s Messenger making even more visual with the functionality of 360 Degree Photos and HD Quality Videos.

People can now have an ability to send and receive 360-degree panoramic photos and HD quality videos (720p) right from your Messenger app(iPhone/iPad) along with the Facebook messaging web app via https://www.messenger.com/.

Earlier this year we shared that the ability to send photos, videos, stickers and GIFs in Messenger is extremely popular and now we are continuing to make these features richer, sharper, and better than ever. That’s why today, we are introducing the ability to send 360 degree photos in Messenger.

To enable 360 degree photos in Facebook Messenger, simply open a camera to panorama mode and snap a photo or create from third party applications “Google Street View” from App Store. Then share it in to your favorite ones in Messenger.

How to Share HD Videos in Messenger

Simply, select the HD video from your device or from your Newsfeed to share a High Quality HD videos on Facebook Messenger.

Both 360 degree photos and HD videos are easy to identify in Facebook Messenger. You will see a compass icon on the right-hand side of a panoramic photo while Video can be identifiable with a HD or SD marker.
