A new update of Whatsapp now allows user to delete mistakenly
sent messages. That means you not only delete message from your side but the
messages are deleted from recipient too. The new feature works on both private
as well as in group chats.

How to delete mistakenly sent message on Whatsapp
Step 1: Launch any conversation on Whatsapp
Step 2: Tap & Hold on any message that you want to delete
Step 3: You will be prompted with two messages – “Delete for
Everyone” & “Delete for Me”
