New WhatsApp update now offers a feature where a user can lock/unlock their Whatsapp on their iPhone with a Face ID or a Touch ID.
This means whenever you want to launch the app, you will need to validate Face ID if you have an iPhone X or higher or use a Touch ID if you have iPhone 8 Plus or lower models.
You can enable this feature by going to Settings on Whatsapp – Account – Privacy. But first, make sure that you update the app to the latest version from Appstore.
Whatsapp is one of the most popular messaging platforms around Asia. The service is free to use and is owned by Facebook.
