Well-known hacker Luca Todesco has released a jailbreak for iOS 10.1.1 and iOS 10.1. Please note that it is currently only for jailbreak developers which can be possible using Yalu + match_portal .IPA app and Cydia Impactor.
The iOS 10.1.1 Yalu match_portal jailbreak currently supports iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, 9.7-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad Pro running iOS 10.1.1. This is the the first jailbreak to be released for iOS 10.1.1 using Yalu and Cydia Impactor. To jailbreak iOS 10, iOS 10.1, iOS 10.1.1, you need the ‘Yalu + match_portal’ .ipa file and Cydia Impactor and has only been tested to support the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on iOS 10.1.1. So do not try jailbreak iOS 10 using Yalu Jailbreak until you are a developer.
Since Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak is beta, Cydia Substrate is not working yet and your tweaks will not work. Jailbreakers should wait for stable release of iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak because trying this may end up losing iOS 10.1.1 or iOS 10.1 and you may force to upgrade to iOS 10.2.
Since, this jailbreak only supports 64-bit iOS devices and the Compatible devices for jailbreaking iOS 10.x.x are;
- iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE
- iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad Pro
- iPod Touch 6G
Todesco has also revealed that the jailbreak is not an untethered jailbreak, which means that you will need to re-jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch if you reboot it or power off. Step 1: Before you start Be sure to have Find My iPhone and passcode lock disabled before proceeding with this jailbreak.
Step 2: Take a backup of your device via iTunes or iCloud.
Step 3: Connect your iOS 10.1/10.1.1 device to your computer via a Lightning USB cable.
Step 4: Before jailbreaking iOS 10.x.x, download the latest Yalu jailbreak app .IPA and Cydia Impactor from our Download Page and save them to a folder on your computer.Please follow same instruction as below how to jailbreak iOS 10.1.1 with Yalu match_portal jailbreak ipa file and latest version of Cydia impactor on windows.
Step 5: Right click the Impactor zip and extract all the files of it.
Step 6: Launch Impactor from the extracted folder and Click Run if asked to confirm.
Step 7: Now Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB and making sure to select Trust it prompted.
Step 8: iTunes will detect your iPhone and pops up the notification to allow this computer your iPhone. Click Continue.
Step 9: Drag and drop the Yalu(match_portal) IPA downloaded earlier into the Cydia Impactor app that you have already launched in Step 6.
Step 10: You will be asked to enter your Apple ID and password. This is used to sign the IPA, letting it run on your device. Just Enter it.
Step 11: After you have entered your ID and Password Cydia Impactor warns you a notification as in the screenshot. Just Click OK.
Cydia Impactor will now sign the IPA and install the new Match_Portal app on your device.
Step 12: Once the Pangu app has successfully downloaded to your device you must trust the developer profile created under your email address.
So for this, Go to Settings >> General >> Device Management.
Step 13: Select your email from the Device Management menu and Tap Trust (your email)
Step 14: Click the Trust button from the popup that appears. Here i have already verified my email.
Step 15: Return to the Home screen and launch Yalu(match_portal) app.
Step 16: You’ll see a white screen displayed for
about 15-20 seconds and your iPhone will now reboot and Cydia installed on your HomeScreen.
As this is a semi-tethered jailbreak, you will need to relaunch Yalu(match_portal) each you restart.
Congratulations. Launch Cydia, and it will re-load all data and prepare the filesystem as it does when you jailbreak your device.
