email to Tim Cook stating if he closes all the apps for more battery life.
Though the email was not replied by Tim himself but the iOS chief From Apple

That means it is really not necessary to
close all the apps from the multitasking for more battery life and increased
performance. The device does not eat up any battery even if we do not close
bunch of applications running in the background. The battery only starts to
drain if we are on certain applications.
