Here is another small but handy feature that allows you to connect to WiFi network just by scanning routers QR Code in iOS 11. With this feature, you no longer have to enter WiFi password now on.
iOS 11 has a built in QR Code reader that allows you to launch apps and websites upon valid QR Codes. Now this feature also works to connect WiFi by scanning the QR Code located on backside of the router. Just open the stock camera app – scan the QR Code from router – A banner notification will pop-up – Tap on the banner notification to complete the process.
Along with this feature, Apple has also added WiFi sharing to nearby devices in iOS 11 that allows you to share WiFi password to your friends by placing two phones together. Check out here:
