With the launch of iOS 11 in June, Apple added a major
feature into it called as “ARKit”. ARKit allow users to interact with virtual
things using their device’s camera and an app but Apple did not mentioned the
device compatibility that will work with AR apps.

will work with ARKit apps.

Many of us thought that ARKit would work on every iOS devices
that supports iOS 11. But that is not the case! ARKit will not work even in some
of the high end iPhones and iPad. So which iOS devices supports ARKit? And the
answer is the one that has A9, A9X, A10 or A10X chip used on an iOS device.
That means, only the iPhones and iPads that has A9 or latest chip can be used
with ARKit apps in iOS 11.
