How to enable stealth mode for Facebook and Messenger on iPhone/iPad [Jailbreak Tweak]

There is no individual silent feature on
iOS Facebook and Messenger app by default. 
So for those who didn’t know, a new Jailbroken Cydia tweak is available in
Cydia called SilentMessenger which allows your messenger and Facebook in silent
mode even though your device is not silent condition.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

Silent mode:
When enabling this option, it will hide your last active time, online status,
typing receipts and read receipts. You cannot see the last active time,
online status, typing receipts and read receipts of your contacts and also you
cannot use Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Silent mode works in
Messenger and Facebook simultaneously.

Blue banner:
Within the Messenger app, you will be notified with a blue banner when Silent
mode is activated.

Typing receipt:
When enabling  this option, your
contacts can not see when you are typing a message. Silent mode will always
hide the typing receipt.

Read receipt:
When enabling this option, your contacts will not know when you read a
message. Silent mode will always hide the read receipt.

Do not track:
When enabling this option, “Facebook Analytics” will stop sending
usage data and statistics on Messenger and Facebook simultaneously.

USAGE SETTING

  • Send unlimited photos:
  • Send an unlimited number of photos in a single message.
  • Unlimited duration:
  • Send videos without limit of duration.
  • Stop Autoplay:
  • Disables autoplay for videos. Only for Facebook.
  • Switch Account:
  • When enabling this option, you can also switch accounts pressing the
    “Edit” button in Messenger Settings.
Compatible: Supports on all iPhone,
iPad and iPod touch running iOS 7, 8 and 9.
Note: Last versions of Facebook are
not supported.
This tweak is very important to be
installed on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch if you frequently uses Facebook

How to install SilentMessenger on
iPhone/iPad
  • Simply open Cydia – Tap on
    Search and type the name of the Cydia tweak SilentMessenger and
    Tap install. 
  • Respring your device because the
    tweaks may not work properly if you do not respring or reboot your device.
  • Now Go to Settings>Scroll down and
    Select SilentMessenger
  • In the tweak preferences, you can
    see many options to configure.
  • Configure and start using your Messenger
    and Facebook app in privacy.
