Last week we heard a rumor circulating that Apple is planning to launch the new iPad Mini 5 in early 2019. Now the first leak has just arrived that provides more information about the new iPad.
The details come from Slashleaks that shared an iPad Mini 5 case on Twitter that has a lot of details on it. First, we can notice is the camera cutout that matches the exact iPad Pro configuration which hints that this new iPad could get the camera upgrade. Also, the microphones have been moved to the center of the device just like 9.7 inch iPad.
We can also notice that there is a cutout for the headphone jack on the top right corner and cutout for the smart connector as well. Apple might have been planning to release a budget iPad in a smaller size with smart keyboard and an Apple Pencil support.
Apple is rumored to launch iPad Mini and a low-cost inch iPad in the first half of 2019.
