When Apple released three new iPhone models and Apple Watch Series 4, everyone was expecting that it will also release the new iPad model. But there was no sign of it. But when Apple released new iOS 12.1 Beta 1 to developers, it reveals that iPad Pro is coming next month.
iOS 12.1 Developer Beta 1 not only hints landscape support for Face ID but also confirms that the 2018 iPad is all set to launch next month.
Digging into assets used by the Setup app, which is the app that runs when you set up a new device, we found a new identifier for a “2018 fall” iPad. The previous version of the app only included identifiers for the 2018 iPhones. This means the app is being updated to teach users how to use the new gestures on a new model of iPad to be released this fall.
The new iPad model is rumored to feature slim bezels, Face ID, upgraded internals and more.
What do you think about this news? Are you waiting for the new iPad Pro?
