Rumor: Apple to Release Bezel less and Curved Edges iPhone 8 with 5-inch and iPhone 8 Plus with 5.8-inch screen

According to Barclays Research analysts
Blayne Curtis, Christopher Hemmelgarn, Thomas O’Malley, and Jerry Zhang, Apple
is planning to release a next generation’s iPhones 8 with 5-inch and iPhone 8
Plus with 5.8-inch screen with bezel-less design and curved edges.

Larger and Bezel-less – iPhone 8 design didn’t sound 100% locked down but we
believe the move is to a bezel-less design with screen sizes getting larger and
curved edges in the original envelope. The iPhone 8 moves to 5″ (from
4.7″) and the Plus moves to 5.8″ (from 5.5″).

According to Barclays Research analysts, Apple is planning to release a next generation’s iPhones 8 with 5-inch and iPhone 8 Plus with 5.8-inch screen with bezel-less design and curved edges

The analysts also claim that only the 5.8-inch model would get an OLED Display supplied
by Samsung, LG, and Foxconn-owned Sharp by 2018.

The analysts claim that while the design of the iPhone 8 has not been
finalized by Apple and Barclays does not believe that Apple will get rid of the
Home button yet but the analysts say the screen will “extend vertically as
well as horizontally and the next iPhone 8 will move to bezel free design with
bigger display.
