Apple today seeded the third beta of 12.1.1, macOS 10.14.2, tvOS 12.1.1 and the second beta of watchOS 5.1.2 to registered developers and beta testers.
If we check the version number of these betas, it seems that they do not consist any new features but just a minor update. These betas focus more on fixing the bugs and enhancing the overall performance.
If you have a developer account then you can download and install iOS 12.1.1 beta 3 by going to the Software Update tab in the Settings – General section. For those who do not have a developer account, the public beta will be released within 1 week.
Also, macOS 10.14.2 beta 3 is available to download for developers from the Software Update tab from the System Preference.
As for Apple Watch, the registered developer can install the latest beta by going to Apple’s Developer Center page and installing the necessary configuration profile. Once the configuration is set, a developer can download the newest beta from the Apple Watch iOS app on iPhone.
Remember that the Apple Watch must be connected to the charger and have at least 50% of the battery life before you could install watchOS 5 beta 10 on your Apple Watch.
Apple has not included any kind of release note so it’s still unclear what specific changes it has made to these new betas. However, if we find any, we will update it in the next post.
