According to the Chinese social media site Weibo, Apple is set to launch the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max in red color later this month. But the color will not be named as Product(RED) but instead, Apple will call it “China Red” because it is launching in China to boost iPhone sales in that region.
It is still unclear whether the Red iPhone would be exclusive in China only or will it be available in the global market as well. Apple usually launches Product(Red) iPhones and donate some part of its revenue for the HIV research.
The current iPhones available in Red versions are iPhone 7/Plus, iPhone 8/Plus and iPhone XR.
Many other smartphone brands like Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi are launching their new smartphone models in the coming months so Apple might hit this strategy and launch its new color line up for the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max in order to sustain in the market.
