Apple today releases iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1 and macOS 10.14.1 Mojave to the public. Let’s check what new features and changes do they bring to this new software releases.
First of all iOS 12.1. This new iOS comes with lots of features that Apple demoed on WWDC event this year. It includes features like Group FaceTime Call where users now will be able to FaceTime 32 people all at once.
Also, Apple has added 70 new Emoji to this software update including new characters with red hair, gray hair, curly hair, bald and more.
The iOS 12.1 also introduces Dual SIM with eSIM support where iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone Xr owner will be able to use two number on one device.
Along with that Apple also releases watchOS 5.1 for Apple Watch users. This new software update brings Group FaceTime support to up to 32 people but in terms of Audio only. Also, there is an addition of 70 new Emoji’s in watchOS too.
You can update your Apple Watch by going to Watch app on your iOS device – Settings – General – Software Update. Remember you Apple Watch should be connected to the charger and have at least 50% battery life.
And finally, Apple has also released macOS 10.14.1 Mojave to the public after releasing several betas. This software update for Mac includes similar features from iOS & watchOS: 70 new Emojis and Group FaceTime Call, no other changes.
