Add 3D Touch Gestures to Cydia on iOS 12 Jailbreak

There are a number of option available when 3D touch on any applications, but there is no 3D touch gesture to Cydia. We don’t know why Saurik not allowing the 3D touch gesture on Cydia.

Though this is kinda a simple thing, it would be nice to have feature if we get the 3D touch functionality on Cydia too.

With the jailbreak tweak called Cydia3DTouch 12, it lets you add 3D Touch gestures to Cydia on any iPhone running iOS 12 jailbreak.

Cydia3DTouch 12 allows four functions when 3D touch on Cydia icon:

Add Repo
Refresh Repos
Search Tweaks
Recent Installations

This is very easy to do something directly from the 3D Touch gesture rather than opening the apps and choose the type what you wanted. Cydia3DTouch is available on Xarold repo for free.

After installation of the tweak, you have no option to configure. It works immediately after your device resprings.

To get this tweak, your device needs to be jailbroken and here’s how to jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 12.1.2 or lower.

Adding 3D Touch Gesture on Cydia icon

1: Launch Cydia

2: On the Search tab, search for MiniGridSwitcher

3: Install the tweak and respring your device

That’s it. Now when double pressing the home button to invoke switcher cards on iPhone 8 Plus or below or swiping up from Home Bar to mid screen on iPhone X or higher, you will get the iPad like switcher on iPhone.
