Apple releases iOS 10.3 Beta 1 to Public Testers

With the release of iOS 10.2.1 final and release of iOS 10.3 beta 1st to developers, Apple has released the its beta 1st version of iOS 10.3 to public. iOS 10.3 public beta 1 include several feature like new floating one-handed keyboard and iOS 10.3 has switches to the iPhone’s file system from HFS+ to APFS.

What’s New in iOS 10.3 beta 1:

  1. The Find My iPhone app now includes Find My AirPods
  2. Reduced Motion is now supported in Safari for web apps
  3. SiriKit now includes the ability to support paying bills, schedule future ride-hailing rides, and check the status of payments.
  4. CarPlay now has a dedicated shortcut to launch recently used apps
  5. CarPlay will now show EV charging locations
  6. Navigation improvements have arrived for conversations in the Mail app
  7. HomeKit now supports expanded switch accessories
  8. New 3D Touch Weather actions
  9. Spotlight Search now has a border
  10. The Podcasts app now officially has a widget similar to the Music app
  11. There’s a new user security section in Settings
iOS 10.3 Public Beta 1 is available for download to registered developer’s via OTA over-the-air on iPhone 7- 7 Plus and other compatible devices like iPhone 6s-Plus, iPhone 6 – Plus-, iPhone 5-5C-5S-SE from iOS settings app running previous beta or you can download iOS 10.3 Public Beta through Apple’s online developer center and Apple Beta Software Program.

As rumored iOS 10.3 beta 1 is to feature a new Theatre mode – will include a new popcorn-shaped Control Center icon but it is not seen yet.
