When Apple removed headphone jack from iPhone 7 & 7 Plus in 2016, the company provided a 3.5mm Adapter in the box. It did same with the 2017 iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. But in 2018, Apple decided something different.
According to analyst Matthew Ramsay, the upcoming iPhones will not include the 3.5 mm headphone jack adapter. The report comes after going through Cirrus Logic’s Q3 earnings expectations.
Also, the upcoming iPad will not have headphone jack at all and the adapter will not be included on it as well.
This is a great sign of Apple moving towards “Truly Wireless” Future.
